I'm a scientist, entrepreneur, and educator who has built a career at the intersection of technical expertise, business, and people. My work has moved from biomedical research into health-technology ventures, cross-functional leadership, company strategy, and MBA teaching.

That range has taught me that expertise creates value only when people can make sense of it together. A sound analysis needs a clear recommendation. A worthwhile idea needs support. A new manager needs to shift from doing excellent individual work to helping other people succeed.

As an immigrant from Bangladesh, I also understand that professional life in a new environment can involve unfamiliar expectations, uneven access to opportunity, and the work of finding your own voice within a different organizational culture. No single story represents every internationally trained professional. The goal is not to erase identity or suggest that communication skills remove structural barriers. It is to build practical capability while taking the real context seriously.
